Meet the Artist: Pat Evans Adams

Pat was born, raised and schooled in Berkeley, California, and became interested in art as a child surrounded by her grandmother’s paintings. She started at age six writing and illustrating her own books, and graduated into teaching Art and Drama as well as many other subjects. Her degree in Art and English plus her Master’s in Administration and Curriculum led her into a career in education. She has taught grades K-12 and into college, and has also developed a K-5 art program and supervised 35 art aides in lessons and presentation for young children. Retired now, she’s still writing and illustrating stories and enjoying art. Her favorite activity is traveling the world with her family, visiting the works of great artists. Her dream is to spend a summer in Paris teaching English and improving her art skills.
